- Support Linux system administration and AWS resource management to ensure performance and security
- Assist with application deployment and configuration automation using Ansible and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
- Contribute to Ansible playbook development and monitor systems using tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- Gain hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, Kubernetes) and identify opportunities for optimization
- Help automate monitoring, patching, backups, and issue resolution for Linux and Windows environments
- Collaborate within Scrum teams to document processes and support design and automation initiatives
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education
- Up to two years of experience managing Linux platforms in private cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic hands-on experience with Linux systems in a cloud environment, deploying applications, and an understanding of container orchestration
- Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management, with basic knowledge of YAML for playbook creation
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including basic networking and persistent storage management on Linux
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork
