Systems Architect

Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a Systems Architect to oversee the implementation of complex systems, ensuring they align with organizational goals and requirements. Bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working with various stakeholders to create and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient systems. Additional responsibilities may include:

• Gathering and analyzing business needs and translating them into technical specifications
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and long-term goals
• Lead or support Independent Design Reviews
• Lead or support Phase Reviews
• Focus on delivering innovative solutions across multi-disciplinary teams
• Support technical proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities
• Support program technical execution and ensure a proper amount of engineering rigor is applied
• Work with customer and program leadership to coordinate, schedule, and ensure system readiness
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices and standards

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Deep understanding of Systems Infrastructure and System Integration
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives
• Ability to communicate technical concepts
• Analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
• Experience in overseeing Systems Engineering projects from concept to completion

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Masters Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
