Your Role

The Application Services team plays a critical role in enhancing customer and technical collaboration while delivering all application development through a Platform and Technology Product Operation Model. The Systems Analyst, Consultant will report to the IT Development Senior Manager. In this role you will be the comprehensive subject matter expert in the technology products/platform feature space and apply, learn, and extend your skills beyond formal role boundaries. Having a desire to help achieve transformational healthcare improvement should serve as the inspiration behind the ideal candidate’s willingness to participate across many different activities within an agile working model.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of the delivery roadmap for platform feature set(s) or technical products within the Care Management and Quality Platform, starting with Insourcing, in partnership with engineering and architecture
  • Drive operational excellence, including Incident Management, AI-driven process automation, and ensuring reliable, high-quality deployments across technology products
  • Provide analytical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption
  • Partner closely with product stakeholders and technology teams to understand the business domain and translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Recommend efficient, cost-effective implementations by leveraging reusable components and standard capabilities wherever possible
  • Understand, document, and communicate upstream and downstream dependencies across assigned development areas
  • Assist in creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables, including process flows, detailed test cases, and test scenarios to meet development and stakeholder needs
  • Define and document clear acceptance criteria, ensuring successful validation through demos and functional testing
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos), representing the needs and perspectives of assigned development areas
  • Lead and perform comprehensive end-to-end testing, ensuring product quality, reliability, and alignment with business requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate product functionality, regression, and integration scenarios
  • Ensure robust test coverage through well-defined test cases (manual and automated), supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Serve as a DevOps Analyst across multiple technology product lines or platform feature teams as needed
  • Configure, develop (scripts, queries, reports), test, troubleshoot (system and application logs), evaluate performance, and provide ongoing support, including monitoring and issue remediation
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features, enhance system capabilities, and improve overall platform performance
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards throughout the development, testing, and deployment lifecycle
  • Lead regular system audits, identify improvement opportunities, and implement necessary updates, patches, and optimizations

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Requires at least 7 years of directly related professional experience and deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs, or technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and technical counterparts
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline the product delivery lifecycle
  • Experience in product testing and test case creation 
  • Experience documenting agile workflows and processes
  • Experience utilizing the Atlassian suite of products
  • Requires basic technical knowledge and experience including adherence to architectural design, development standards, security policies, and sustainable design practices

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
