Job Description
As an Executive Director in Central Risk Book Trading, you will be at the forefront of executing large-scale equity transactions and providing strategic leadership to optimize trading performance. Your role demands a deep understanding of complex trading products and the ability to engage effectively with a sophisticated client base, including asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, and hedge funds. You will work in close collaboration with sales trading and quantitative research teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions and spearhead innovation in trading strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for customer facilitation and risk pricing across a broad spectrum of equity products.
  • Identify and capitalize on trading opportunities by developing and implementing advanced strategies.
  • Oversee the development and refinement of internal valuation models.
  • Provide strategic leadership and recommendations to enhance trading performance and optimize client outcomes.
  • Review, analyze, and validate profit & loss reports, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with sales and quantitative research teams to develop bespoke client solutions and drive innovation in trading strategies.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across global equity teams, technology, risk, and control functions.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and mitigate operational risk.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Equity markets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of equities execution products, market structure, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Strategic thinker with strong qualitative skills, including effective communication and presentation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders, including Sales Trading and Quantitative Research.
  • Self-driven individual with the acumen to identify new client opportunities and generate innovative trade ideas.
  • Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in code design and programming, with a primary focus on Python / KDB.
  • Proficiency and commitment to managing risk and working closely with our institutional client base.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Extensive experience in International Equity Trading.
  • Preferred Series 7, Series 57, and Series 63 licenses.
