About the Role
- Work with unique core systems in a VM/VSE environment
- Maintain and develop system-level code for critical enterprise platforms
- Perform version upgrades, software installations, and hardware integrations
- Lead cross-organizational projects with a broad architectural perspective
- Provide guidance and support to development teams (acting as a “Lead Programmer”)
- Write detailed technical and functional specifications
- Deliver creative and effective technological solutions for complex issues
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience with MF systems and deep understanding of their architecture
- Expertise in MF Assembler and JCL
- Advantage: knowledge of REXX, PLI, and COBOL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn independently and handle complex technological challenges
- Availability for intensive work and meeting tight deadlines
