ARSIEM is looking for self-starting, motivated System Architects to support a federal Microsoft 365 cloud environment. The System Architects will support architecture, design, integration, governance, optimization, and technical planning across M365 cloud services, Power Platform, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams, Copilot, Azure, Intune, and AvePoint Online Services. This job is primarily remote.
Responsibilities
- Design, support, and optimize Microsoft 365 cloud architecture across Power Platform, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, Teams, Copilot, Azure/Azure AD, Intune, and AvePoint Online Services.
- Support Power Platform environment design, tenant configuration, pipelines, governance, and enterprise policy implementation.
- Assist with SharePoint Online administration and SharePoint on-premises infrastructure considerations.
- Support integration across SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, Azure, AvePoint Online Services, and related systems.
- Assist with data readiness planning, Purview integration, data protection, permissions management, retention, and compliance settings.
- Support M365 service monitoring, Dataverse performance monitoring, resource utilization analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with tenant and backup solution configuration and maintenance for OneDrive and related services.
- Support POCs, pilot testing, technical roadmaps, architecture documentation, and reference materials.
- Collaborate with developers, security specialists, engineers, technicians, and government stakeholders.
- Contribute to bi-weekly status reports and monthly consolidated health reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 cloud-based services in a large corporate or government environment.
- Experience architecting, designing, implementing, administering, or optimizing Microsoft 365 cloud services.
- Experience with SharePoint Online administration and Microsoft 365 development.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and environment configuration.
- Knowledge of Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, Azure, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and related M365 services.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with user permissions, data retention, compliance settings, governance, and enterprise policy implementation.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across the M365 platform and AvePoint Online Services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to multiple audiences.
- Ability to complete IRS MBI/security onboarding and required IRS security training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Defender, Graph connectors, Copilot, Loop, AI Builder, and AvePoint Online Services.
- Experience supporting migrations, enterprise M365 governance, tenant architecture, and security architecture.
- Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience supporting Windows Server, SQL Server clusters, SharePoint farms, or hybrid enterprise architectures.
