Job Description:

Coming soon to the Las Vegas Strip, Hard Rock Las Vegas will be a fully integrated luxury resort offering world-class hospitality, gaming, dining, entertainment and retail. Positioned on the 50-yard line of the Strip, the resort will feature a nearly 700 ft. guitar-shaped hotel that will change the Las Vegas skyline. The finished complex will feature over 3,700 hotel rooms, approximately 175,000 square feet of gaming space, two spas, multiple pools, live entertainment venues and dozens of restaurants, lounges and retail outlets.

Job Summary:

The SVP Marketing & Entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, under the direction of the President, serves as the senior executive leader responsible for overseeing all Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital, Database Marketing, and the Entertainment division. This role provides visionary leadership to elevate brand presence, drive guest engagement, strengthen market competitiveness, and maximize revenue generation across all business channels. As the guardian of our brand identity and strategic direction, the SVP Marketing & Entertainment ensures all marketing and entertainment efforts align with enterprise-wide goals while anticipating industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive activity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide very high‑level strategic oversight of all marketing, advertising, brand communications, digital strategy, database marketing, entertainment programming, and related revenue‑driving areas.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, enterprise‑wide marketing and entertainment strategy that aligns with business objectives and long-term growth.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to define target audiences and translate insights into compelling, multi-channel marketing and entertainment campaigns.

  • Optimize resource utilization—budget, personnel, technology, and external partners—to maximize impact and operational efficiency across all divisions.

  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, email, CRM, database segmentation, and digital content strategy.

  • Drive strategic integration between marketing and entertainment to enhance guest experience, brand loyalty, and on-property revenue.

  • Leverage market research, consumer data, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.

  • Manage and strategically allocate division budgets while monitoring performance and return on investment across all marketing and entertainment initiatives.

  • Steer the evolution of brand positioning, messaging, and creative assets to ensure consistency and strength across every touchpoint.

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of marketing, digital, communications, and entertainment professionals.

  • Represent the organization as a senior brand ambassador, ensuring alignment with corporate values, mission, and guest experience standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Extensive experience in senior-level marketing leadership, ideally within a casino, resort, entertainment, or hospitality environment.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale marketing and entertainment strategies.

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale operations.

  • High proficiency in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and modern marketing technologies.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.

  • Deep understanding of brand development, market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.

  • Frequent communication and coordination activities.

  • Occasional lifting, transporting, and handling of materials.

  • Ability to adapt to temperature changes and atmospheric conditions.

  • Skill in developing and driving inclusive marketing strategies that align with business aims.

  • Skilled at analyzing market research data to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities.

  • High proficiency in brand management and digital marketing.
