As our SVP of Growth, North America, you will be at the helm of crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy to deliver our Revenue goals in the North American market. You will partner with the Safeguard Global Senior Leadership Team and functional leaders to ensure that the value creation plan is effectively executed so that the business units reporting to you are on a path for sustainable, profitable growth. You will focus on developing the GTM market leaders reporting to you, supporting their development. You will ensure each business unit balances short-term growth with the long-term focus on customers, their products, and the people in their business unit. This role will report to our Chief Revenue Officer. 
 

How you will make a difference:

  • Lead GTM strategy and execution for our North America market. Responsible for directly managing our North America sales and marketing teams to create and implement growth strategies that drive sustained revenue growth with P&L responsibility for growth functions.   

  • Provide management and coaching to Sales and Marketing leadership with the ability to clearly explain decision making processes and downstream implications.  

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance excellence.  

  • Support Safeguard’s Chief Revenue Officer on executing tactical elements of growth, supporting the full life cycle of the customer journey from demand generation to customer satisfaction 

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for sales and marketing functions, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.  

  • Ensure rigorous end-to-end annual and quarterly planning processes to deliver on key short and long-term objectives. 

  • Develop and expand North America leadership talent through effective coaching, employee development, and engagement strategies.  

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative pricing strategies and packaging solutions to maximize revenue opportunities and market penetration.
    Collaborate closely with product development teams to ensure alignment between product roadmap and market demands, driving product-market fit and customer satisfaction.

  • Align with cross-functional stakeholders working in related businesses to effectively develop and execute joint strategic initiatives.  

  • Monitor and adjust to trends within region that are relevant to our clients and GTM strategy. 

What will make you stand out: 

  • 10+ years of GTM leadership experience in the B2B SaaS/software industry with direct experience serving customers in highly regulated environments.  

  • Proven track record of driving successful revenue growth. 

  • 5+ years of 2nd line Sales and Marketing experience. Experience leading both new logo and account management/customer success. 

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and market trends. 

  • Experience leading both new logo and account management selling motions.   

  • Experience managing a P&L in mid-sized companies.  

  • Demonstrated success in organizational change management.  

  • Strong knowledge of the components of an effective go-to-market strategy with the ability to implement the underlying tactics.  

  • Experience developing customer onboarding and success practices.  

  • Regularly inform the Senior Leadership Team and Key Stakeholders on market trends, successes and challenges in market 

  • Thorough understanding of each element of a P&L with an ability to methodically develop a budget, analyze actuals, and guide execution within budget parameters.  

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform strategy and planning.  

  • Collaborative and cross-functional mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.  

  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics to measure and optimize performance.  

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and mentor a team.  

  • Ability to travel based on business need, up to 25% of time.
