We're looking for an analytical SVOD Strategy Manager to support the performance and commercial health of our Subscription Video on Demand line of business.
Reporting to the Director of SVOD Strategy – LOB Management, you will conduct analyses, build models, and develop insights that inform recommendations across key SVOD commercial levers, including pricing, packaging, and promotions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Growth & Planning, Product, Finance, Analytics, Business Development, and regional teams to monitor, evaluate, and improve SVOD performance across the subscriber lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate subscriber lifecycle health to identify trends, diagnose issues, and surface opportunities to accelerate subscriber and LTV growth
- Refine strategic guardrails and frameworks across pricing, packaging, promotions, and distribution to guide Growth, Go-to-Market, and Business Development teams
- Build and manage analytical models to forecast subscriber and revenue growth, supporting long-term scenario planning
- Partner with Finance, Product, and regional teams to assess local pricing, packaging, and promotional opportunities, modeling impact on acquisition, retention, and revenue
- Support quarterly SVOD LOB reviews, including performance reporting, test results, and prioritized recommendations
- Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor activity, market trends, and product innovation to identify risks and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Analytics teams to design structured testing plans and develop data-driven recommendations
- Align closely with SVOD Strategy and Membership Strategy teams to coordinate shared LOB initiatives and priorities
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects for the Senior Management Team
We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.
About You- 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking
- Experience in an analytical role within streaming or consumer subscription businesses
- Experience building and managing subscription revenue models (LTV, churn, ARPU, cohort forecasting), ideally within SVOD or digital subscription businesses
- Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in building financial and performance models and running sensitivity analyses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to rapidly shifting priorities
- MBA or equivalent preferred
