Sustainability Data Analyst

Job Description Summary

The ENERGY STAR Data Analyst will support Cushman & Wakefield Asset Services in ensuring all buildings nationally are benchmarking utility performance. They will assist property teams in creating energy models in Energy Star Portfolio Manager, ensuring all data is collected and reported to municipal benchmarking authorities. They will assist properties who qualify for Energy Star Certification. They will also develop tools and resources to support this action across markets nationally.

Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION  

  • Assist in managing the C&W national Energy Star Portfolio Manager Account, which includes: 

  • Preparing energy models, collecting documentation, and troubleshooting issues to complete Energy Star Certification applications. 

  • Managing the submission of energy and water data to city/state entities to meet local ordinances 

  • Educating Property Teams on how to use and maintain ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager models 

  • Researching city and state municipal program developments and their changing requirements 

  • Developing portfolio analysis tools to help identify properties with potential for certification and properties that need assistance 

  • Performing outreach campaigns for educational and business development purposes 

  • Assisting in completing the Energy Star Partner of the Year annual application  

  • Utilize third-party software and platforms as need, including but not limited to: 

  • Local Utility Aggregated Data Portals 

Qualifications 

  • BA or BS degree in related major (environmental science, engineering, etc.) 

  • 1-2 years of experience with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager 

  • 1-2 years of experience with benchmarking buildings and reporting to local ordinances 

  • Experience with utility portals for obtaining aggregated energy data 

  • Must be an excellent multi-tasker, organized and responsive 

  • Able to work remotely and independently 

  • High level of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel 

  • Interest in energy and sustainability 

  • Good communication skills (written and oral)

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 53,550.00 - $63,000.00
