At Reflect, you will be expected to move fast, have a lot of ownership and, most importantly, be able to effect change. If this excites you, we are interested in hearing about your best work and accomplishments across any domain and from any points in your life.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Specialist you'll interface directly with our engineering team to be responsible for rapid and effective acquisition programs on critical hardware. Your success in this role will result in more satellites in space sooner. The ability to build connections with US and International suppliers is essential. The Reflect Orbital supply chain includes everything from electrical components to state of the art polymers, and many things in between. A critical ability is to find a way to do things on timelines others find impossible. If broad responsibility and a focus on speed are your thing, you'll fit right in.

Responsibilities
  • Own acquisition of key hardware and raw materials

  • Identify, onboard, and mature alternative vendors for novel materials

  • Identify supply chain risks and mitigate them

  • Negotiate pricing lead times, and terms with a wide range of suppliers

  • Maintain clean documentation for traceability and configuration management.

Ideal Qualifications
  • Experience purchasing hardware in a high-tempo aerospace environment

  • Experience or relationships with suppliers of radiation tolerant electrical components

  • Experience or relationships with suppliers of thin-film polymers

  • A high ownership mindset

  • A bias towards action

Even if you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you. Hiring exceptional individuals is our #1 priority, and we believe that exceptional people often have highly unusual backgrounds.

We are also interested in carving out unique roles for unconventional people that we are excited about working with.

Benefits

Reflect Orbital’s success will hinge on our team, which is why our compensation and benefits plan is designed to reward our employees and support their families as generously as we’re able.

  • Broad choice of medical/dental/vision coverage, Reflect covers 100% of each base-policy

  • Access to HSA, FSA, and 401K

  • Unlimited paid time off, two-weeks per year encouraged

  • Healthy lunches provided daily

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
