What is JetZero? 

Today’s aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall. 

JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft. It uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

What You'll Do:

JetZero is in growth mode. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for strategic and tactical partnership activities to support the development of JetZero products and services. Using your industry knowledge, you will work with our finance, legal, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams during contract negotiation and establishment of Master Services Agreements with our suppliers. This individual will have responsibility to ensure that parts and services can be sourced cost effectively and with the required quality controls in place.  

  • Execute a strategy for parts and services acquisition
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with engineering teams to build procurement strategies that align with business requirements
  • Manage and develop strong relationships and agreements with suppliers, dealing with any potential issues and concerns
  • Conduct negotiations and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of products and services from suppliers
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals, Proposals and Contract Execution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery methods, cost, and quality
  • Ensure that suppliers operate in full compliance with JetZero’s policies for supplier conduct
  • Develop and drive strategic goals while also completing tactical, working level tasks as required

  • 5+ years of subcontract management and/or procurement project management experience 
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with people management is a plus
Compensation: 

Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $100,000-$140,000. We consider a number of factors when presenting a final offer, including geography, internal equity and years of experience and expertise.

Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.  
  • The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view JetZero from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
