KBR is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support the United States Space Force's (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC). SSC provides has the collective Space Force mission responsibility for the development, deployment, maintenance and sustainment of space systems providing early missile warning capability; environmental sensing; precision navigation, guidance and timing; nuclear event detection; space launch capability; national and military satellite communications platforms; launch range and network systems; advanced systems; and technology development programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Directly responsible for tracking all global supply chain issues that impact SSC and provides status to the applicable Program Executive Officer.  Capable of identifying Procurement and Material resources for PEO business requirements. Builds supplier rapport, capable of negotiating with strategic suppliers, and coordinates activities to meet the needs and productivity of a PEO activity.  Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures impacting SSC.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Experience in Obsolescence Management, Component Engineering, Engineering Change Management, Inventory Management, Planning, Change Control and Manufacturing.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in life cycle analysis, Product Change Notification, Component Obsolescence Management, Supply Chain Management.
  • Develops processes for the development of new products, inventory, manufacturing, and delivery.
  • Develops a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Plan.
  • Details the collaborative processes and efforts between Cybersecurity, Supply Chain Management, Lifecycle Logistics, and the Engineering disciplines
  • When appropriate, oversees engineering drawings, Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) and Technical Data Packages (TDP) deliveries.
  • Builds relationships within the company and external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify/maintain resources required for an efficient supply chain.
  • Establishes performance metrics for comparison/evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
  • Monitors suppliers’ performance; assesses their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Identifies and prioritizes key obsolescence issues to enhance system and sub-system components.
  • Coordinates with key supply chain stakeholders to ensure obsolescence reduction accountability.
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 9+ years of experience.

Security Clearance: 

  • Secret (or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance)

Basic Compensation:

  • $155,000 - $175,000

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience.
