Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator. This role involves tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring on-time delivery to meet production schedules. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in expediting and supply chain processes, preferably within the aerospace industry. is responsible for the end-to-end management of all business finance systems, processes, controls, and all business related internal and customer reporting requirements for the portfolio. This is an onsite role in El Segundo, California.

Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Work with suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise in the delivery process
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, quality, and engineering to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts
- Analyze and interpret data related to inventory levels and production schedules to determine material requirements
- Communicate regularly with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of materials
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that purchase orders are aligned with the production schedule and customer demand
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to material procurement and transportation.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain expediting role, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of aerospace supply chain management practices and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed, to meet project deadlines
