Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supply Chain Contracting Manager to join our team!

The Supply Chain Contracting Manager develops, negotiates, and manages contracting strategies that reduce the total cost of goods and services for Clarventa and its GPO member pharmacies. This role focuses on high-impact pharmacy supply chain categories, including logistics and last-mile delivery, cold-chain and packaging, pharmacy technology, and credentialing. By aggregating member volume, the Manager secures preferred pricing, favorable terms, and sustainable savings that individual pharmacies may not achieve independently.

This is a high-level individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence across contracting strategy, supplier negotiations, and category performance. The Manager owns a portfolio of supplier agreements and category strategies, initially focused on supply chain and cost-of-goods programs, and potential expansion into additional strategic initiatives that support Clarventa’s broader cost, access, and value objectives. This is a supplier-facing negotiation and contracting role, represents Clarventa in the market, leads sourcing and negotiations, manages supplier performance, and ensures negotiated savings are successfully delivered to member pharmacies. Working closely with a small, high-performing team and cross-functional partners, the Manager helps advance Clarventa’s mission of delivering more efficient and transparent contracting solutions.

Is this you? Find out more below!

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Represent Clarventa in the market as a supplier-facing contracting leader for supply chain and cost-of-goods categories.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable service for GPO member pharmacies.
  • Develop and execute category strategies and action plans that expand savings, strengthen contract structures, and enhance partner value.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of vendor relationships and agreements, converting vendor interest and preferred-pricing opportunities into signed, executed agreements that deliver measurable value.
  • Monitor supplier performance and promote accountability to contract terms, service levels, and expectations.
  • Uphold high contracting standards and ensure the timely, accurate execution of agreements.
  • Ensure negotiated pricing and renewals are reliably extended to eligible members.
  • Identify opportunities to aggregate member volume, standardize terms, and drive continuous improvement in category performance and cost competitiveness.
  • Partner with leadership to assess, plan, and launch new supply chain and cost-of-goods initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, finance, operations, contract operations, compliance, and legal, to support contracting objectives.
  • Ensure all vendor and supplier agreements align with legal, regulatory, and industry standards, including anti-kickback, transparency, and reporting requirements.
  • Support compliance program objectives, and contribute to people, learning, and culture programs across the function.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required. MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional procurement, contracting, or supply management certification (e.g., CPSM) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, vendor contracting, category management, or sourcing required.
  • 3+ years of direct contract negotiation experience with demonstrated, quantifiable savings or value delivered required.
  • Experience building new programs, categories, or functions, with comfort operating under ambiguity, pressure, and tight timelines, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with group purchasing organizations (GPOs) is highly preferred. Candidates should understand the group purchasing organization model, including how aggregated member volume creates negotiating leverage and how value is delivered back to member pharmacies.
  • PBM or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost modeling, total-cost-of-ownership analysis, and interpretation of pricing constructs.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
