Key responsibilities include
Leveraging data analytics to drive efficient inventory management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand. This role plays a vital part in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the organization’s goals through strategic inventory analysis and proactive replenishment practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure precise forecasting, optimal stock levels, and quality fulfillment to consistently meet customer demand across all regions.
  • Track and evaluate the impact of promotions on inventory, making adjustments to maintain ideal stock levels.
  • Conduct data mining across the supply chain to identify business opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, proactively identifying and addressing anomalies to support smooth inventory operations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive inventory data analysis framework in partnership with key stakeholders to enhance reporting and decision-making.
  • Strengthen data infrastructure to enable streamlined access, analysis, and real-time reporting capabilities.
  • Create and maintain a data dictionary, standardizing calculation metrics and establishing evaluation standards for consistency.
  • Enhance team capabilities by implementing best practices in data analysis, fostering a data-driven culture.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analysis, or demand forecasting, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong analytical ability to conduct trend analysis, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations for inventory optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Access for data extraction and management.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, with the ability to automate repetitive tasks and develop forecasting tools.
  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, inventory planning, and stock management, particularly within the retail industry.
  • Ability to design standardized metrics, enforce evaluation criteria, and contribute to a cohesive data analysis framework.
