KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Leads cross-functional coordination between Sales, Customer Service, Credit, Transportation, Inventory Management, and Distribution Centers to ensure seamless customer onboarding, order fulfillment, and delivery execution. Serves as the primary escalation point for resolving complex process and logistics issues, optimizing internal workflows to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee customer implementations, onboarding, and offboarding processes, partnering closely with sales teams and key accounts to align distribution capabilities with customer requirements. Manages large-scale order coordination, including Denovo launches, bulk shipments, and specialized delivery programs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to service expectations.

  • Drives operational excellence through system reporting, process improvements, and data analysis, leveraging tools such as JDE and WCS to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Acts as a liaison between field sales and distribution operations, providing guidance, training, and real-time support.

  • Leads special projects and cross-functional initiatives, including transportation optimization, inventory strategy alignment, and distribution center readiness. Supports national sales initiatives and organizational priorities through planning, communication, and execution.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • In-depth knowledge of distribution center (DC) processes, capabilities, and tools for effective problem-solving and customer support.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Control System (WCS) and JD Edwards (JDE).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills for time-sensitive responsibilities.
  • Experience coordinating departments, managing projects, and supporting high-volume customer accounts
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, email alerts, customer scorecards, or BI/reporting tools
  • Social media monitoring and response experience

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.

                                                                                                                                       

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
