Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Key Responsibilities
- Surface treatment of various materials including metals and ceramics.
- Experience/knowledge in precision cleaning, thin film coating and/or thermal spray is plus
- Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing products. Applies knowledge of qualified sources and products to recommend materials to Design Engineering, which would result in savings, lead time reductions, system improvements, increased life and/or mitigated risk.
- Work with New Product Development teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.
- Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
- Performing the supplier technical audit process and evaluating supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
- Performing quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action.
- Support product development and improvement teams by sourcing new technologies from qualified suppliers.
Functional Knowledge
- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Solid technical understanding in semiconductor equipment cleaning and/or materials science.
- Fabrication and manufacturing of semiconductor components made of various metal or ceramic materials.
- Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function
- Material analysis and characterization as well as analytical skills of ICP-MS / LPC

- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

- Understanding and use of various problem solving methodologies, such as 8D, six sigma, etc.

Education
- PhD/MS/BS Degree in Surface Chemistry, material science, or Chemical Engineering
- 3 - 5 Years of Experience

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
