The Supervisor, Paid Social is responsible for oversight of the Canvas Worldwide paid social product (planning, buying, execution) in support of client accounts. There are 3 main duties required of this role: Paid social planning and implementation, account management, and team management and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Ideate and plan Paid Social campaigns across relevant environments (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, Snapchat)
- Translate client business goals and marketing objectives into digital objectives/strategies
- Prepare and present strategic media recommendations to client and agency management, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials
- Keep abreast of current events, social/digital media trends and any target market industry trends that impact business
- Manage day-to-day paid social activity and ensure delivery to a consistently high standard, cost effective and in line with business targets
- Manage client media budgets including monthly forecasting of spend, pacing, and efficient delivery
- Continuous optimization of bid strategies and A/B testing of creative, ad unit, and landing pages to maximize conversion rates
- Implement 3rd party audiences as part of media buys, according to strategy; evaluate and test new ad units and audiences
- Provide reporting as needed through partners (Facebook/Twitter) or 3rd parties (Google Analytics, Omniture, Facebook FMPs, etc.)
- Manage and follow quality assurance checklists and adherence to brand guidelines (legal, privacy, content, etc.)
- Collaborate with Director, Paid Social in setting paid social strategies and developing appropriate media plans
- Supervise, guide and counsel Paid Social Specialists on all day-to-day activities and ensure that all processes are followed
- Train specialists in social media and marketing disciplines as well as the specifics of the client’s business and industry
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members
- Foster integration & coordination between social and planning teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships between agency team and partners
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of Paid Social experience (preferably at an agency with expert knowledge of Social platforms)
- Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities
- Advanced Excel proficiency, in addition to proficiency in MS Suite at-large: Word/ PowerPoint
- Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media management tools/platforms
- Must be a skilled relationship builder and business partner
- Must have the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information
- Experience working closely with other media teams focused on Television Buying, Display Buying, Strategic Planning & Intelligence, Analytics, Community Management, Content Development & Creative, Influencer Activation, Invention and Marketplace Buying (i.e. Search)
- Strong knowledge of all relevant social platform UIs and capabilities, relevant API management platforms and strong knowledge of Tier II vendors and capabilities
- Demonstrated success in using the most advanced targeting/retargeting tactics in social media to drive client business objectives
Yearly compensation: $85,000-$95,000 salary range
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.

In-Office Work Schedule
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
