As a member of the Membership team, our Supervisor of Membership supports members, providers, groups and various internal departments by mentoring staff, monitoring workflow, maintaining performance measures and ensuring timely and quality enrollment/billing processing while adhering to State, Federal and company guidelines.

What You Bring to Cambia:Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred but not required)

  • 3 years of accounting related experience, prefer but not required in the healthcare industry

  • Leadership/supervisory experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated competency in setting priorities for a team and overseeing work outputs and timelines, including scheduling, attendance, meeting facilitation, work inventory and issue resolution.

  • Ability to effectively develop, train and lead a team (including employees who may be in multiple locations or work remotely) and assist in the development of productivity, quality and service standards.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to identify problems, trends; develop solutions and implement a course of action.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization; to include strong customer service skills and the ability to work with internal and external groups or parties.

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and related regulations and mandates.

  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable.

  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize assignments within multiple projects.

  • Experience in an environment where you have balanced high volume production with quality service in a processing center, with proven ability to effectively manage performance while creating an environment for service excellence.

What You Will Do at Cambia:

  • Leads team operations through strategic work assignment, goal setting, and performance monitoring, while ensuring compliance with LOS, URAC, and departmental standards through regular 1:1 and team meetings, maintaining accurate billing/reconciliation processes according to company timelines.

  • Drives talent management initiatives including staff selection, training, coaching, and performance reviews, while fostering professional development and serving as a key resource for issue resolution and cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Oversees documentation and process improvement by maintaining reference manuals, procedural guidelines through Change Management Committee, while leading division projects and analyzing data for presentation to leadership.

  • Partners with project managers to implement solutions, translate business requirements, and drive process improvements, ensuring effective communication and project execution across all initiatives.

  • Compliance with all regulatory standards and medical policies.

The expected hiring salary range is $62,050 - $83,950 a year depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.

The bonus target for this position is 10%.  The current full salary range for this role is $57,000 - $94,000.
