Job Title: Supervisor of Cataloging & Authentication – Hollywood/Movie Props

The What: Goldin is seeking a Manager of Cataloging & Authentication – Hollywood/Movie Props to lead day-to-day authentication and cataloging operations, maintain relationships with third-party authenticators, and ensure a timely, organized process for a rapidly expanding business.

What you will accomplish:

  • Catalog incoming lots with accurate, detailed titles and key attributes.

  • Identify inventory requiring authentication or deeper research; triage and route to appropriate experts.

  • Foster, develop, and maintain relationships with third-party authenticators and new partners.

  • Partner with photography and editorial to highlight provenance, key attributes, and value drivers.

  • Collaborate with consignment directors and account managers to meet auction deadlines and GMV targets.

What you will bring :

  • Working knowledge of the Hollywood/Movie prop collectibles space (props, wardrobe, set pieces, COAs/provenance).

  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to meet hard deadlines; flexibility to work overtime based on auction cycles.

  • Skill in prioritizing and evolving processes/authentication strategies with changing market trends.

  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$54,000 - $86,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
