The video games industry is transforming how players are entertained, communicating with each other, and interacting online and on their digital devices. Our summer internship program offers college students a great opportunity to discover what it is like to work in a fast-growing videogame company, serving millions of players and in an international work environment. As an intern, you will have a chance to roll up your sleeves to come up with creative ideas and deliver innovative solutions to actual business challenges. You will build enduring relationships with your team leader and assigned mentor, learn about the gaming industry, and be an immediate part of Pearl Abyss’ collaborative culture.

This is a paid internship program. The start and End dates are negotiable depending on the intern’s school schedule.

LOCATION

Manhattan Beach, CA (On-Site)

Duration: 12~14 weeks

Pay: $18~$20 per hour

What you’ll get:

  • Assist management with special projects, research, meeting agenda development and meeting preparations as requested.
  • Gain industry knowledge through daily business interactions and position assignments.
  • Develop business, financial and analytical skills needed for a career in the gaming industry.
  • Gain exposure to gaming industry business, products, services and membership needs.
  • Utilize departmental databases to create collateral, compile data and conduct post-event/program analysis.
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records.
  • May review and provide input of website content, digital tools, and communications to support programs and initiatives.
  • Shadow multiple positions and train in a variety of areas.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current graduate or undergraduate students with an expected graduation date between May 2026 to December 2026 and earning degrees in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Passion for the Gaming Industry: You’re curious and eager to learn about the various games and the current trends.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: You’re personable, service-minded, and can collaborate effectively with others.
  • Reliability and Good Judgment: You’re dependable and possess sound decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding Communication: You’re able to articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to learn and grow.
  • Attention to Detail: You’re organized, accurate, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Gamer:  Avid Black Desert Online player and/or other MMORPG games.
