About The Role

As a PR & Influencer Intern, you will have unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the various sectors of brand marketing, working closely within the team and cross-functional partners on impactful projects. You have the chance to immerse yourself in creation of storytelling moments for our product lines, contributing to our team's success while honing your skills in marketing and media relations. This role is perfect for motivated individuals seeking to explore their passion for brand marketing, develop new competencies, and lay the groundwork for a successful career journey.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Assist with weekly press tracking and reporting for PR and Influencers.
  • Support development of press releases and pitches across multiple categories (beauty, fashion, events, etc.).
  • Assist with multiple aspects of brand marketing events including gift bags, face sheets, creating shot lists and pitch lists.
  • Work on list building for new press and influencer contacts, ensuring lists are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with sample trafficking and warehouse orders for press and influencers.
  • Support organization of team materials and workflows, helping keep information clear, consistent, and easy to access.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergrad (entering Junior or Senior year) in a related area of study and able to receive course credit with proper documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with or experience in public relations, social media, and influencer management.
  • Students must be eligible to receive school credit and provide supporting documentation.

  • Type of Hire: The internship will be part-time (16-24 hours/week) and run from June 1st – July 31st, working in our Hybrid environment in Santa Monica, CA. 
  • Compensation:Students must be eligible to receive school credit and provide supporting documentation, and work in our Hybrid environment.
