Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Growth and Operations Associate to join our team. This role will focus on driving growth by managing events, forging strategic partnerships, and launching new programs to increase car listings and elevate the Cars & Bids brand. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for cars, strong interpersonal skills, and a knack for operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute events (e.g., car shows, meetups, or virtual showcases) to engage the Cars & Bids community, attract new sellers, and enhance brand visibility.
- Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with automotive brands, car clubs, influencers, and other relevant organizations to drive listings and brand reputation.
- Strategic Program Development: Help design and launch new initiatives (e.g., referral programs, seller incentives, or marketing campaigns) to increase the number of cars listed on the platform.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with marketing and community teams to create content, campaigns, and outreach strategies that strengthen the Cars & Bids brand and attract enthusiasts.
- Operational Support: Streamline processes related to event logistics, partnership agreements, and program execution to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Data Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of events, partnerships, and programs, using insights to optimize strategies and report on ROI to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align growth initiatives with company goals.

What We're Looking For:
- Actively pursuing a degree in business, marketing, operations, or a related field.
- Experience in growth, operations, event planning, or partnership management, preferably in the automotive or marketplace industry.
- Passion for cars and familiarity with the enthusiast car market.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions (proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or CRM platforms is a plus).
- Creative problem-solver with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to identifying growth opportunities.
- Ability to travel occasionally for events and partnership meetings.

Expected weekly base salary: $1,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits that may be offered in connection with the advertised role.
