Job Function: Information Technology – PMO
Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in San Diego, CA or Dallas, TX)

Position Summary

The Technology PMO Project Coordinator Intern will provide analytical and operational support across project intake, portfolio tracking, and governance processes. This role supports data-driven insights that enable effective technology execution and informed decision-making across the IT organization.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

The intern will support the Technology Project Management Office (PMO) by:

  • Assisting with project intake, prioritization, and portfolio tracking
  • Supporting governance processes and reporting cadence
  • Analyzing project and portfolio data to support leadership decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities to improve PMO processes and workflows
  • Supporting documentation, communications, and status reporting
  • Assisting with the identification and implementation of process automation solutions
Skills & Experience Gained
  • Exposure to PMO operations, portfolio management, and governance models
  • Awareness and practical application of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and process automation techniques
  • Strengthened written and verbal communication skills
  • Improved ability to organize work, manage time, and meet deadlines
  • Development of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and professional curiosity
  • Experience working within an enterprise technology organization

QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED | Required
  • 0–2 years of related experience
  • 3.0 GPA
Additional Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Business, Technology, or related academic background preferred
  • Demonstrated high performance, initiative, and eagerness to learn

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

    Pay Rate$17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
