Job Summary: 

The Subject Matter Expert in Data is a recognized thought leader and authority in their specific areas of expertise. These individuals are content experts within the organization and actively contribute to enhancing their area of knowledge. They effectively represent Clearwater, demonstrating a deep understanding of the company's value proposition when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Providing support in the area of expertise, encompassing operational workflow, content management, data flow, business development, product enhancement, and ensuring client success. 

  • Delivering quick, thorough, and accurate responses to both internal and external inquiries. 

  • Planning, designing, developing, and conducting quality assessments on content to maintain high standards. 

  • Leveraging a combination of manual and automated processes and procedures to validate the accuracy of specialized content. 

  • Evaluating the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of data from both new and existing data vendors. 

  • Participating in queue work and task remediation, with a growing emphasis on shifting toward more critical projects, strategic initiatives, and client interactions. 

  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and address any gaps, thereby ensuring efficient process workflows. 

  • Recognizing the distinction between value and functionality and consistently conveying value messages in both internal and external interactions. 

  • Taking the lead in driving discussions for newly introduced assignments and initiatives. 

 

Required Skills: 

  • Understanding of technical ecosystem and able to solve client pain through Clearwater best practices. 

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.    

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.    

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.    

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.   

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.  

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in Business-related field.  

  • 4+ years relevant experience. 

  • Experience providing externally facing demonstrations of our website and can tie most questions about their area of expertise back to Clearwater’s value proposition. 

  • Prior experience/familiarity in SQL preferred. An understanding of database concepts and information models is critical.
