Your Role 

As a Student Extern, you will join a dynamic office environment shadowing architects and interior designers in Gensler’s Los Angeles office. This is a paid externship from August 11th through December 19th, 2025. This externship will be 3 days in office (24 hours a week).

 

What You Will Do 

  • You will have an exciting opportunity to shadow architecture, design, strategic, and creative professionals in our Los Angeles office

  • You will gain sound understanding of our practice areas, clients, and projects.

  • Experience the rich culture of our studios, office, and firm.

 

Your Qualifications 

  • You are in a 4-year accredited academic institution

  • Familiarity with the real estate, construction, and/or architecture industry.

 

Your Additional Characteristics 

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in school and/or community.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

  • Resourceful, self-motivated, enthusiastic team player.

  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 

*This is a paid externship at the rate of $24.00 per hour*
