About the Opportunity

Lantern is in hyper-growth. To maintain this pace and to unlock the large market potential, Lantern expects to double the GTM teams over the next 12 months.

About the Team

Commercial Strategy & Operations (“CSO”) (i.e., Lantern’s Revenue Operations team) supports the President and his broader go-to-market function, including Sales, Client Success, Marketing, Channel Partners (health plans, ecosystem partners, and benefits consultants/brokers), and Provider Network Development. CSO is responsible for Commercial strategy, planning, insights, systems/tools, process, and data. This role sits within CSO and directly supports Growth functions (Growth Marketing, Consumer Marketing).

The Marketing organization drives revenue growth in two ways:

  1. Generating new client demand by targeting and converting employer prospects, and
  1. Driving member activation and engagement through Consumer Marketing programs that help members understand their healthcare options, access high-quality care, and realize the full value of Lantern’s provider network.

 Your Mission

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations, the Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, Growth will serve as an operational backbone for Lantern’s Marketing organization. You will partner with Marketing leadership to translate strategy into execution by improving lead quality and attribution visibility across employer and member funnels, enhancing tooling and reporting within Salesforce, and proactively identifying bottlenecks that limit conversion and revenue growth. You will help establish the rhythm of business for the Marketing organization, streamline workflows and build new operational capabilities that reduce manual work and scale with the business. Ultimately, your efforts will directly drive revenue growth by enabling more efficient, data-driven, and effective Marketing operations.

 What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs that monitor Marketing team’s performance and provide actionable insights
  • Identify operational bottlenecks across the Marketing workflows and design + implement solutions to improve them
  • Collect and translate business requirements for Salesforce and Marketing tools to improve reporting, attribution, and operational workflows
  • Establish and run the rhythm of business for Marketing teams, including forecasting, weekly performance reviews, and cross-functional reporting.
  • Project-manage Marketing cross-functional processes that enable more effective collaboration among GTM teams (e.g. Sales, CS, etc.)
  • Support executive, Commercial, and board-level reporting with insights that connect marketing activity to revenue, case creation, and member activation
  • Support Marketing leadership with annual planning (e.g., budget, org design, OKRs, etc.)

  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with executive stakeholders

  • Quantitative mindset; can establish KPIs and OKRs that underpin success and team effectiveness, and you can independently interpret the data to articulate the 'so what'
  • Bonus: experience working in healthcare point solutions, healthcare or working within a Marketing organization

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
