Strategy Insights and Planning Associate Consultant
ZS's Strategy Insights and Planning teams partner with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
What you'll do: Strategy Insights and Planning Associate Consultant in the Strategy & Transformation Service Area will...
  • Partner with clients to design and execute large-scale transformation initiatives across strategy, operations, technology, and organizational effectiveness
  • Support organizational transformation efforts including operating model design, governance structures, process optimization, and future-state organization design
  • Lead workstreams focused on change management, stakeholder engagement, change readiness, communication planning, and adoption strategies
  • Facilitate client workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders, define priorities, and drive decision-making
  • Develop transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, and PMO governance processes to support successful execution
  • Assess current-state business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design scalable future-state solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to coordinate complex transformation programs and ensure alignment across business functions
  • Support marketing and digital transformation initiatives, helping organizations improve customer engagement, commercial effectiveness, and operational performance
  • Apply structured problem-solving approaches to address organizational, workforce, and operational challenges
  • Monitor transformation progress, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track

What you'll bring:
  • 2-5 years of consulting, transformation, organizational effectiveness, change management, workforce advisory, human capital, or operational excellence experience
  • Experience supporting client-facing engagements within consulting, advisory, or transformation-focused environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, technology implementations, process transformations, or operating model redesigns
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement strategies, and organizational adoption frameworks
  • Experience working within PMO structures, governance models, or large-scale transformation programs
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable recommendations and implementation plans
  • Experience developing roadmaps, process maps, business cases, governance frameworks, and executive-level presentations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries is preferred but not required
  • Fluency in English
