NielsenIQ is seeking a highly strategic, proactive, and trusted Strategy & Corporate Development Coordinator. This role goes far beyond traditional administrative support—acting as a true business partner who brings structure to ambiguity, clarity to complexity, and momentum to enterprise‑level priorities.

The ideal candidate excels at executive enablement, strategic coordination, cross‑functional alignment, and high‑quality synthesis for senior leadership and the Board. This position is critical to ensuring the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development operates at maximum effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Enablement & Priority Management

  • Manage a complex executive calendar, aligning time to strategic priorities and enterprise initiatives.
  • Anticipate needs, decisions, risks, and dependencies; proactively coordinate people, information, and resources.
  • Oversee domestic/international travel, agenda planning, itineraries, and expense management.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional working sessions related to strategy and corporate development.
  • Manage high‑level external interactions with bankers, private equity firms, partners, and advisors.
  • Establish and maintain the operating cadence (quarterly reviews, annual planning, transformation rituals).

Executive & Board Support

  • Prepare and refine presentations, narratives, and materials for senior leadership.
  • Help shape executive meeting agendas aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate development, timelines, and compilation of Board materials.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of Board documents and historical references.

Knowledge Management & Process Excellence

  • Manage a centralized repository for strategy documents, decisions, and executive materials.
  • Build lightweight systems that preserve institutional knowledge and context.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance effectiveness and workflows.

Professionalism & Confidentiality

  • Handle sensitive information with the highest discretion and judgment.
  • Represent the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development with professionalism across all interactions.

M&A, Growth & External Engagement Support

  • Maintain trackers/logs for target outreach, mandates, M&A conversations, NDAs, and investor/banker engagement.
  • Coordinate diligence materials and communications in partnership with Corporate Development and Finance.

Additional Support

  • Manage logistics for off‑sites, leadership forums, and department‑wide events.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to advance strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of executive‑level support experience, including 5+ years supporting C‑suite leaders.
  • Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner—not just an administrative resource.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and executive‑level presentation abilities.
  • Strong judgment, precision, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High professionalism, integrity, and comfort handling confidential information.
  • Strong ownership mindset; ability to operate autonomously and in remote environments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfort with collaboration/AI productivity tools.
  • Strong business acumen and interest in strategy, growth, and enterprise transformation.

What Makes This Role Unique

This role is designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and executive enablement—someone who can independently create order, identify what matters most, and help drive momentum across high‑stakes enterprise initiatives.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $82,800.00 - $100,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.  Other benefits include a flexible working environment, comprehensive health insurance, industry-leading parental leave, life insurance, education support, and more.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
