About Suno

At Suno, we are building a future where anyone can make music. You can make a song for any moment with just a few short words. Award-winning artists use Suno, but our core user base consists of everyday people making music — often for the first time.

We are a team of musicians and AI experts, including alumni from Spotify, TikTok, Meta and Kensho. We like to ship code, make music and drink coffee. Our company culture celebrates music and experimenting with sound — from lunchroom conversations to the studio in our office.

About the Role

Suno is looking for a strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial Strategy & Business Development Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that shape our business. You’ll own end-to-end development of strategic partnerships, while also driving broader initiatives that influence how Suno scales.

This role is ideal for a high-agency generalist who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and who loves both music and tech. You’ll be deeply involved in everything from evaluating new market opportunities to shaping enterprise offerings and executing marquee collaborations — like our partnership with Amazon Alexa.

  • Conduct and present strategic analyses that guide company-level decisions (e.g. market expansion, GTM strategy, pricing, enterprise).

  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to align external opportunities with internal priorities.

  • Develop frameworks to measure partnership success and inform future investment decisions.

What You’ll Need
  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, partnerships, or business development - ideally at a high-growth tech company

  • A proven ability to build and maintain high-value relationships

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills

  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical instincts and attention to detail

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities

  • Collaborative spirit and eagerness to work cross-functionally

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
