As a Strategic Sourcing Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be accountable for guiding a team of sourcing professionals, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive change across the organization.
You will report directly to our Control Systems  NPI Director and you'll work out of one of our Aerospace facilities on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through developing sourcing strategies, creating strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•   Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance
•   Lead a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities

•  Direct aerospace professionals and stakeholders to ensure execution of sourcing strategies to meet program deliverables 
•   Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies
•   Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
•   Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices
•   Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
 

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
•   2+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
•   Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
•   Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement
•   Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

•   Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
•   Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
•   Knowledge of best practices in procurement and supply chain management
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•   Ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams
•   Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development

The annual base salary range for this position in Torrance CA is $133,000.00 - $165,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
