About the role

Over the last three years, Waterplan has built an outstanding portfolio of clients who look forward to moving the needle and making a positive difference in the world.
In this position, you will design and implement the strategy for each company partnering with us. 

You will lead their holistic journey through Waterplan, collaborate with them to get a comprehensive understanding of their goals to ensure a seamless journey, all while championing their success — a key factor in achieving Waterplan's core mission of expediting the transition to a water-secure world.

About your core focus

Client Relationship Management and Development of Success Strategies

  • Engage with clients to assess their needs to align Waterplan’s value proposition to their goals

  • Understand customers' businesses, stakeholder dynamics, challenges, and software needs to provide insights and support their milestones.

  • Build trust with key stakeholders and sustainability executives from top global companies across various industries.

  • Apply project management skills to execute strategic initiatives effectively.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Professional Services, Sales, Marketing) to develop and implement a unified strategy.

  • Develop strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Identify business cases and success stories from client interactions to enhance service offerings.

  • Develop tailored strategies for specific industries and regions based on client feedback and market trends.

  • Promote the visibility of the company's solutions both internally and externally to inform stakeholders of successes and capabilities.

Driving Customer Engagement and Product Success

  • Strategic Solutions Specialists play an integral role in shaping and defining this groundbreaking new category. You'll be responsible for scoping complex customer engagements as we expand into new industries and pioneer this innovative category design. 

  • Assist customers in utilizing the product for business success. Guide them through onboarding, enable data gathering, and support goal-setting to help achieve their water targets.

  • Stay abreast of new platform features, providing insights and delivering value-added updates to clients for sustained business growth.

  • Showcase Waterplan's unique value to potential customers through product demos and insightful presentations.

  • Gather insights and feedback from clients to inform and shape strategies with Waterplan’s Product team.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to transition successful solutions from customization to standardization.


Your Profile

  • Must 

    • Mindset: Ambitious, scrappy, resourceful, and unyielding work ethic. A creator and builder. An optimist team player.

    • Educational Background: Degree in Industrial Engineering.

    • Proven Experience:

      • Experience working in enterprise-level customer-facing roles.

      • Experience presenting to C-suite/VPs/Directors. 

    • Skillset: 

      • Analytical & process-driven, communication and strategic thinking skills

      • Extremely organized with a demonstrated history of success in project management.

      • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English

      • Use good methods for asking questions effectively, to uncover underlying needs and collaborate with all Waterplan teams to ensure their fulfillment.

    •  Passion:

      •  A genuine interest in sustainability, nature, and a deep passion for our mission.

  • Nice to have 

    • Experience in a product-related role within a technology company.

    • Experience as a business strategy consultant in a top-tier consulting firm working with global enterprise accounts (ideally in the Food & Bev, Manufacturing, CPG, Mining, Materials, Industrial, and Energy sectors).

  • Location: Based in Spain.
