Strategic Sales Manager
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sales, the Strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for managing SharkNinja's portfolio launches and promotional strategy within the Canadian market. The Strategic Sales Manager is at the center of trade marketing, field sales, and product development and is the voice of what is best for the Canadian market to scale distribution, drive revenue and improve the business' profitability. This individual will facilitate channel development, assortment and pricing decisions and be the key strategic liaison for our Canadian field sales team.

Responsibilities:
Our Strategic Sales Manager will drive impact by:
- Facilitating the shelf assortment strategy by category and retailer to maximize revenue, profitability, and YoY growth.
- Engage in long range placement strategies with Marketing and Product Development that deliver our category level margin targets.
- Collaborate with key accounts and analytic leads to develop promotional strategies including understanding and validating sales lifts, coordinating necessary asset support, understanding profitability impacts along with confirming actions into the forecast.
- Be bold in elimination of dead trade spend and identify activations that will drive industry leading ROI for each brand.
- Develop distribution strategies that allow our brands to win where the consumer shops in an everchanging retail environment, including expanding into new channels.
- See the smoke before the fire on product and retail performance and lead the charge to identify actions to improve high rate of sale.
- Support sales with frequent in market visits and customer facing meetings to provide strategic value to Shark Ninja's partners and field sales team including product, category knowledge and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and pressure test mid- and long-term roadmap with marketing teams to provide winning assortment to diverse and ever-changing channels
- Communicate to management on placement progress on regular basis.
- Liaison between Sales and Finance on assortment portfolios that drive margin enhancement YoY by subcategory and gatekeeper of pricing.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience within a strategic sales environment.
- Background in retail sales analysis and promotional strategy preferred.
- CPG experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment with quick pivots.
- Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges with senior leaders.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
