We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented sales executive to develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline for our cutting-edge technology across several commercial and enterprise applications for our Spot Product Line.  This role is heavily focused on hunting for new business and expanding our customer base. Every day, you will proactively engage with potential customers, identify product and market fit, and deliver value to drive sales growth. To thrive in this role, you must be a self-starter with a strong drive to win, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for introducing innovative technology to new markets.

For years, our awe-inspiring viral videos on YouTube have shown the world what remarkably capable robots can do. Now we are quickly becoming a recognized leader in automation solutions for industrial applications and warehouse logistics.

 

Day to day activities:

  • Build brand awareness and create demand for Boston Dynamics products

  • Manage opportunity pipeline from identification through closure

  • Analyze customer requirements and applications and recommend appropriate product configurations

  • Qualify sales lead by establishing good customer contact via telephone, email, personal contact, on-site visits, trade shows, etc

  • Make timely visits to customers/prospects for equipment demonstrations and sales (extensive travel throughout the defined territory is required)

  • Plan, coordinate and conduct trade show exhibits, seminars, webinars, and customer training and support (responsibilities may include assistance at trade shows and/or seminars outside of the assigned geographic territory)

Desired skills:

  • High Integrity, team-first mentality, and a hunter mindset with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex product sales, with a demonstrable focus on new business acquisition.

  • Experience with complex commercial product sales in both in the United States and internationally.

  • Experience with direct and channel sales, strong relationship-building skills, and existing relationships with commercial/enterprise contacts.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Strong understanding of procurement procedures.

  • Proven track record selling large contracts to commercial/enterprise customers.

  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.

  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, including experience with cold calling and other outreach methods.

  • Ability to identify and qualify high-potential leads.

  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to manage complex sales processes.

  • Ability to load, unload, and set up equipment weighing 50-70 pounds.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

 

Travel:  

Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time (Including international travel)

The base pay range for this position is between $134,000 to $150,000 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and an annual bonus structure.  Additional details regarding these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer for employment.
