About the Role
The Head of Sales at Sift is looking for a founding sales ops hire that can help drive the connection between the sales tech stack and business outcomes. This hire will be the first sales ops hire and work with all functions at Sift to help drive top line revenue, predictability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Connect sales systems and processes to business outcomes

  • Manage CRM and associated customizations as Sift scales

  • Own the sales tech stack and be an evangelist for CRM integration to other GTM tools (Marketing, legal etc.)

  • Work as a strategy partner with GTM Engineering (who codes and builds) to help drive the outcomes for AI driven GTM solutions

  • Work with finance organization on revenue and reporting

  • Work as the chief of staff for the head of sales, helping to form agenda for team meetings and drive forward pipe gen and opp closure globally

  • Work with marketing to help develop material for the sales team to enable them on new customers and/or product features etc.

Required Skills:

  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce as a platform, understanding the data models, configuration capabilities, and integration patterns

  • Understanding of how to work with finance for quarterly close, revenue reporting

  • Experience working with sales leadership to implement new initiatives across the GTM org

  • Experience working closely with sales, marketing, finance, IT, and legal stakeholders and able to credibly represent system decisions in business terms

  • Proficiency with designing data flows, reporting structures, and connecting operational data to business decisions

  • General knowledge of a wide range of GTM tools and an understanding of the latest/greatest AI features that add ROI to sales teams

Location:

Sift’s headquarters is in Marina Del Rey, CA (Next to LAX). We collaborate in person twice a week—on Mondays and Thursdays—and come together for a full week every two months. We are open to relocating candidates to LA or working from our San Francisco office for the right candidate.

Salary range: $100,000 - $160,000 per year. Plus equity and benefits.

Eligibility:

U.S. Person Required: Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual such as an asylee or refugee in compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) / EAR (Export Administration Regulations) regulations.
