Where we Work

Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This role is open in San Francisco HQ and Denver, and is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

  • Revenue Growth - You have demonstrated success implementing strategies to increase profit through enhanced sales and marketing efforts. You're results-driven and understand how to scale channel partnerships for maximum impact.


About this role

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager at Udemy, you'll be instrumental in expanding our reach through strategic partnerships. You'll build and manage relationships with key channel partners to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify, develop, and nurture partnerships that align with Udemy's business objectives while creating mutual value for all stakeholders.


What you’ll be doing  

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel partner strategies to expand market reach and drive revenue growth
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners aligned with Udemy's strategic objectives
  • Manage existing partner relationships through regular communication, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Create and implement joint go-to-market strategies with channel partners to maximize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure partner success and alignment
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial terms that drive mutual value and growth
  • Track and analyze partner performance metrics to optimize channel effectiveness and ROI
  • Provide training and enablement resources to channel partners to enhance their ability to sell Udemy solutions
  • Represent Udemy at industry events and partner conferences to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve partner issues and ensure exceptional partner experience

What you’ll have

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development roles
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful channel partnerships that drive revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the online learning/education technology space
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize performance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for partner meetings and industry events
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for equity.

Hiring Compensation Range
$140,000$175,000 USD
