As a Strategic Finance Director, you will take a leadership role in managing client engagements, overseeing project teams, and building trusted relationships with our clients. The position offers an opportunity to engage in a wide array of projects, from financial operations and cash management to M&A and Fundraising transaction support. You will work closely with our clients while also contributing to the firm’s growth efforts.
What You’ll Do:
Lead client engagements, owning key deliverables and ensuring execution aligned with client goals
Develop and present actionable strategic recommendations to C-suite and executive teams
Oversee the creation of detailed operating models, financial metrics, and strategic analyses
Manage corporate development initiatives including equity/debt fundraising and M&A activities
Drive internal project management, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and at a high standard
Support business development efforts, including proposal prep, scoping, and relationship management
Mentor the team and build process, ensuring the continuous development of our team and standards
Who You Are:
7-9+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or Strategic Finance / FP&A
Independent critical thinker and entrepreneurial; you’re always looking for creative solutions
Excellent communication skills with an appreciation for internal vs. client facing tone
Proficient in Excel with a strong analytical background - you aren’t afraid to build and dive into models
Embrace an Apprenticeship mentality where you lead by example and set the standard for the team
Hold a Bachelor’s degree
Location: Based in New York City, with a hybrid work environment (open to in-person 2-4x/week)
Compensation:
Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 NYC
Significant variable cash bonus opportunities
Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include variable pay or other types of compensation (e.g., equity), where applicable
