Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a Communications Strategist to join our team and help Air Force’s AFWERX program in providing strategic planning, project management, and communication skills. The selected candidate will work directly with the Air Force Program Management Office (PMO). The candidate must have strong communications skills and experience with brand management.  The Level 2 strategist will work across a team of communications and event personnel providing expertise and mentorship.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leverage expertise in branding and communications strategy to provide recommendations and facilitate AFWERX engagements.
  • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies that target organizational goals and brand management, in coordination with program leadership.
  • Plan and execute communications projects and initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop engaging and high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, reports, presentations, etc.
  • Lead branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across internal and external communications.
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and media contacts to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all channels. Travel is required for networking and outreach initiatives.
  • Assess and analyze communications efforts, providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies.
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations on products to help meet performance goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and audience insights to refine strategies and keep communications fresh, relevant, and effective.
  • Identify process improvements to build strong interpersonal relationships and create collaboration opportunities across the different organizations.
  • Assess effectiveness of communication strategies, processes, tools and provide improvement recommendations proactively and continuously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, or related field, preferably within a military or government context.
  • Skill in extending narratives across various media channels to achieve communication goals and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and evaluation techniques to measure the impact and effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to think critically and make decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.  
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Secret clearance required
