Position Overview:

The Strategic BizOps Manager will play a critical role in shaping the operational and strategic direction of cyber•Fund and its portfolio companies. The Strategic BizOps Manager will drive strategic development, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence to support the growth of the portfolio and the fund itself.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with the Head of Strategy to contribute to the development of cyber•Fund’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the mission of building a cybernetic economy.

• Assist in shaping the strategic direction for portfolio companies, helping them refine their business models, competitive positioning, and growth plans.

• Lead the creation of operational strategies that support the overall strategic goals of cyber•Fund and its portfolio, aligning resources, priorities, and capabilities for maximum impact.

• Participate in long-term strategic planning for both cyber•Fund and portfolio companies, contributing operational insights to inform strategic decision-making.

  1. Operational Strategy & Execution:

• Translate strategic plans into comprehensive operational frameworks that ensure smooth execution across cyber•Fund and portfolio companies.

• Work closely with portfolio leadership to align operational strategies with long-term business goals, ensuring seamless execution of business plans.

• Establish KPIs and OKRs to measure performance and ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.

  1. Process Improvement & Optimisation:

• Continuously assess and improve operational processes within cyber•Fund and portfolio companies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.

• Identify operational challenges and risks, implementing solutions that streamline workflows and optimize performance.

  1. Performance Management & Reporting:

• Track, analyse, and report on key operational and strategic metrics for both cyber•Fund and its portfolio companies, providing actionable insights to leadership.

• Ensure accurate and timely communication of strategic and operational performance to senior management, investors, and other stakeholders.

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Partner with cyber•Fund’ c-levels and portfolio company executives to ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational execution.

• Act as the operational liaison between leadership and portfolio companies, facilitating the smooth implementation of strategic initiatives.

  1. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build strong relationships with cyber•Fund’ c-levels portfolio company leaders and stakeholders to ensure operational strategies align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with investors, board members, and external partners to provide strategic and operational updates.

• Represent cyber•Fund at internal and external meetings, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic goals.

  1. Corporate Development:

• Provide operational and strategic insights to support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, ensuring they align with cyber•Fund’s broader goals.

You have:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in strategy, business operations, management consulting, or as a VC analyst, associate, principal in the Web3 ecosystem;

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred;

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;

  • Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams;

  • Crypto Industry Knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Experience
  • Background in startups, tech, or high-growth companies;

  • At Web3 VC firms as an analyst, associate, or principal.
