Come join the company reinventing data security, empowering businesses to realize the full potential of their data. As the leading data security platform purpose-built for the cloud era, Cyera’s mission is to reinvent how businesses secure data, enable agile collaboration, and boldly pursue new business opportunities. Trusted by security teams at leading global businesses, our team is proving that data security is the next big thing in cyber. Backed by the world’s leading investors and working with a large and growing list of Fortune 1000 companies, we are looking for world-class talent to join us as we usher in the new era of data security.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a highly collaborative, partner-obsessed Strategic Alliances Marketing Manager to join our Field and Partner Marketing team. In this role, you will own the strategic and executional marketing motions for our Technology Alliance Partners (TAPs) and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), including AWS (a must-have), Microsoft, and Google.

You will work cross-functionally with Channel, Alliances, Field Marketing, Product, and Product Marketing teams to build "better together" stories, scale GTM motions, manage joint marketing plans, and drive pipeline growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building strong partner relationships, and can deliver impactful, scalable marketing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and execute strategic marketing plans with key TAPs (e.g., Tines, Cohesity, Delinea, Axonius) and CSPs (AWS, Microsoft, Google)
  • Build and articulate clear, compelling "better together" stories that explain the value of Cyera + partner integrations in simple, business-relevant terms
  • Create and manage joint marketing plans that include events, campaigns, webinars, digital programs, and content strategy
  • Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing to ensure technical positioning aligns with partner narratives
  • Equip Field Marketing with scalable, regional "event-in-a-box" programs to co-host with TAPs and CSPs in their regions
  • Work with Partner Marketing to ensure resellers are enabled to tell the Cyera + partner story and have access to campaigns and content to drive pipeline
  • Manage and track partner marketing budgets, MDF utilization (especially AWS), and ROI for each partner engagement
  • Support planning, execution, and measurement of co-branded webinars, roadshows, and digital initiatives
  • Be the main marketing point of contact for TAP and CSP partners, attending regular cadence calls and owning all marketing execution and alignment
  • Work with external agencies for content creation and bring materials together in digestible, field- and partner-ready formats (slides, datasheets, etc.)
  • Track success against KPIs including pipeline creation, campaign performance, MDF use, content output, and partner engagement
  • Submit and track PSQLs in partner systems, particularly AWS, ensuring all GTM efforts are documented and actionable
  • Drive internal visibility and buy-in by showcasing plans and wins to the broader sales organization

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7-10 years of experience in alliance or partner marketing, preferably within SaaS or cybersecurity
  • Prior experience working with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs) or Partner Sales Managers (PSMs) is required
  • Strong understanding of the tech ecosystem and ability to simplify complex integrations into clear value stories
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to juggle multiple partners and programs simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing joint marketing plans across multiple channels
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and marketing
  • Deep understanding of pipeline goals and how marketing activities influence revenue
  • Strategic thinker who is also comfortable rolling up their sleeves and executing programs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, and Asana

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
