As a Strategic Account Manager at Safeguard Global, you will nurture and grow a select set of strategic accounts by selling additional services to drive growth. How you will make a difference:
Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of our solution offerings.
Develop expansion through customer-centric strategies. Advocate for the value Safeguard Global brings and communicate its impact within your accounts, driving commercial growth and fostering new opportunities for expansion.
Maintain and grow existing client base.
Drive overall revenue in an assigned territory.
Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and business objectives.
Source and maintain relationships with executives and key decision-makers in Enterprise clients.
Perform outbound contact to existing customers to sell additional solutions.
Research and build detailed account maps of each client to ensure we have a clear view of the company’s contact hierarchy, divisions, industry, competition, etc.
Develop a deep understanding of your prospect's business goals, competition, growth plans and obstacles. Implementing sales & pipeline building market strategies.
Convert customer challenges into new opportunities.
Own and control the sales process for each opportunity – combining internal/external stakeholder management, attention to detail, critical thinking and solution influencing leveraging the Safeguard Way structure.
Using Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track contacts, and accounts and generate new opportunities, focused on hunting and developing new accounts in the enterprise market space.
Effectively managing pipeline including generating analysis and reports for the management team.
Skills Required
5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or consulting where you’ve been measured on both qualitative and quantitative performance metrics
Proven Track record selling complex enterprise solutions, expanding relationships in enterprise accounts, and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
Experience handling and closing negotiations for large contracts ~$75k+ (new business and expansions).
A confident negotiator and influencer, liaising with C-Level Executives.
Consultative approach to defining strategic opportunities with customers to map, measure, and achieve successful commercial outcomes.
Skilled in building and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Proficient in developing and executing strategic account plans to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
Ability to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding account penetration.
Tenacious, hungry, and competitive in nature with the desire to be part of and contribute to the success of a fast-growing organization.
Proven ability to plan and execute outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn messaging, marketing campaigns) to penetrate all divisions of client base.
Excellent communicator both written and verbal, you know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it.
How you’ll stand-out:
You have demonstrated experience in, and proficient working knowledge of contingent workforce trends and Employer of Record (EOR) or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) models.
You have worked with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or under Statement of Work (SOW) models previously; and, or
You have certifications that may include a professional HR designation, CCWP, a staffing provider certification, or other relevant industry recognition.
You have training or certification in a sales methodology such as Insights Revenue or MEDDIC.
