As a vendor-independent consultancy, you’ll work with traditional technologies and leading-edge solutions for on premise and Cloud. We offer our employees progression, development and a diverse range of client engagements.

About the Role

capSpire is seeking a Client Account Manager (CAM) to drive sales of consulting and implementation services for the Openlink Commodities (formerly known as Openlink or Endur) platform across North America. This is a senior-level role requiring Openlink Commodities-related sales experience and a proven track record of selling ETRM/CTRM solutions to large corporations. The CAM will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and meeting revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the energy, treasury, and commodities trading sectors.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to negotiating and closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry sales and services teams to identify joint sales opportunities and enhance our market positioning.
  • Engage with key decision-makers at large corporations, positioning capSpire as a trusted partner for Openlink Commodities-related services.
  • Stay up to date on Openlink Commodities (formerly known as Openlink or Endur) and related ETRM/CTRM solutions, industry trends, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, delivery, and practice leaders to align sales efforts with client needs.
  • Track sales activities and opportunities in CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com) and provide regular updates on pipeline and revenue forecasts.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to enhance capSpire’s visibility and credibility.

The Non-Negotiables:

  • 7+ years of experience selling Openlink Commodities-related services (consulting, implementation, advisory, support) to large corporate clients.
  • Prior experience selling Openlink Commodities-related solutions and services, including software implementation, support, and advisory.
  • Existing relationships with industry sales and services teams and familiarity with their sales process.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the ETRM/CTRM space.
  • Strong network of contacts within the energy, treasury, and commodities trading sectors.
  • Ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Monday.com to track pipeline and performance.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with consulting firms, system integrators, or Endur implementation partners.
  • Understanding of commodity trading, risk management, and regulatory environments.

About the capSpire team:

To understand who our people are, you should first understand what they’re not: replaceable. Each member of the team is chosen carefully and with intention. We believe that finding the right fit is more important than a laundry list of credentials – and that people are people first, and titles second.

Because we hire the capSpire way, our team is certainly one of a kind. We’ve brought together incredible talent that regularly collaborates to create clean, fresh solutions. That effort has led to remarkable opportunities, including work with many Fortune 500 clients. We’ve found that the winning combination of exciting achievements, trust in one another and open communication lays the groundwork for long-lasting, successful careers. That, and the fact that we clap for each other at every opportunity.

Problem solvers, go-getters and charge-takers -  we (really) want to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
