Job Description
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for developing and executing a global/regional commercial strategy for high-priority Strategic Accounts. This role drives profitable growth by positioning Rockwell Automation's full portfolio of products, services, and solutions at the executive level, aligning with customer business goals and KPIs. This position will be based in Georgia, and report to the Regional OEM Director, North America.
Your Responsibilities:- Represent Rockwell Automation's full portfolio with broad capability and selective depth in critical areas.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the Strategic Account, articulating economic value tied to business outcomes.
- Lead global/regional coordination of account strategy and execution, collaborating with sales/support teams worldwide.
- Understand customer industry trends, business drivers, and regulatory landscape to align Rockwell's offerings effectively.
- Drive opportunity qualification and resource alignment to maximize impact.
- Partner with OEM Segment Leaders and Product Groups to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
- Develop and maintain a global account plan, ensuring consistent engagement and delivery across geographies.
- Serve as a mentor and model of executive-level selling within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- The ability to travel 50% of the time.
- A valid drivers license.
- 5+ years of experience selling control/information products in automation or related industries
- Experience in the HVAC industry
- Technical knowledge of low/medium voltage drives and power components
- Global sales experience preferred
- Background in manufacturing operations, process engineering, or similar
- Proven ability to sell at senior and executive levels, demonstrating quantifiable business value
