As a Strategic Accounts Lead at d’Local (DLO), you will manage a portfolio of our most prominent global enterprise merchants, identify new business opportunities, and build lasting partnerships. You will understand the unique needs of a merchant and provide them with expert payments guidance to help them grow. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by upselling and cross-selling to existing clients, while also leading and developing a high-performing team to support business objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Build deep, trusting, long-term relationships with decision makers and executives on our most strategic accounts by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Design and implement bespoke commercial portfolio strategies that align with dLocal's (DLO) vision and merchants’ needs.
- Be proactive and prioritize across multiple projects and teams to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions.
- Serve as a regional expert, providing insights to support the broader sales and account management strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and through professional networking.
- Lead and mentor a team, setting clear goals and supporting their professional growth.

Additional Requirements
- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role, such as account management, consulting, or working in the payments industry, with a strong background in complex enterprise sales cycles.
- You have full professional written and verbal proficiency in English.
- You must be comfortable travelling at least 25% of the time.
- Spanish and Portuguese as a second language is a plus.
