The annual base salary for this position ranges from $97,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $217,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Nike Stores Marketing lead (inline & value doors) to join our amazing, dynamic, fast-moving team with Los Angeles marketplace! This role creates, in partnership with cross functional teams, innovative 365, local brand category fields of play and seasonal marketing plans to drive traffic to our entire Inline Retail fleet of stores across with Los Angeles marketplace. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will work on developing integrated marketing plans to support Performance and Sportswear through the lens of programming for Seasonal Brand stories with an emphasis on Sport/Cultural moments. (LA City moments, Olympics, All Star Game, Super Bowl, World Cup etc.). Your days are dynamic and fast changing. You will often have to change course to quickly re-prioritize or respond to a changing business priority, leadership checkpoint, or to solve a problem. In order to work cross functionally with partners, you will sit in a variety of meetings to help develop marketing plans with robust and up to date information. Often you are required to present your marketing plan to leadership, take feedback, and adjust plans across several checkpoints. Travel may be required to oversee events and activations.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

If this is you, you’ll be working with Brand Marketing teams, Real Estate, Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising & Styling, Comms, Integrated Media, Consumer Fields of Play teams, Legal, Digital Brand, Lifecycle Comms, Catalyst Marketing, Sports Marketing, City teams, agencies.

You will be reporting into the Senior Manager of Seasonal Inline Marketing within the Retail Marketing function and will have a mentor to help onboard you to the team.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • Demonstrated experience achieving results in a large, diverse, matrixed company
  • Experience, knowledge, background and passion within Sports and Sports industry is a plus
  • Ability to create strategy from the ground up, with creativity and innovation leveraging information and key performance goals across marketing and business.
  • Curiosity for industry trends and consumer behavior with an emphasis on retail, events /activation planning & execution and constantly seeking new approaches to invite and engage consumers
  • Understanding of omnichannel marketing, membership and services, marketing prowess and how all channels can intersect to create an amazing and compelling marketing plan to drive brand affinity, create awareness, and drive traffic to our stores
  • Pushes boundaries, embraces change, failing forward
  • Inspires teams with vision, instilling shared sense of purpose and direction
  • Champions cross-functional collaboration, constantly breaking down silos to facilitate idea-sharing and problem solving
  • Ability to leverage influence skills, build briefs and presentations appropriate to target audiences, and deliver information clearly, both written and verbally.
