Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Staffing Coordinator (PD) for its Nursing Staffing Office. This position is responsible for coordinating the placement of nursing staff according to acuity and census to provide adequate staffing in meeting patient care needs of the institution. Coordinates, facilitates communication, and functions as resource for Nursing Supervisors, Clinical Managers, department directors, nursing staff and the Nursing Resource Unit.

Education
Preferred: Associate's Degree
Technical Requirements
Minimum: Working knowledge of computer and information systems techniques and procedures.
Preferred: General knowledge and understanding of Cottage Health supported standard software applications. Specific knowledge of networked systems for specialized software(s) with interfaces. Experience working with multiple users, locations, and technical support personnel.
Years of Related Work Experience
Minimum: 6 months of experience in a healthcare-related field utilizing computerized staffing and scheduling systems
Preferred: 3 years of experience in a healthcare-related field utilizing computerized staffing and scheduling systems
