We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Staff video producer/editor who will combine craft with scrappiness to deliver quality live-action content that supports our variety of marketing efforts. Combining creative storytelling with strategic thinking and executional precision, this role will partner cross-functionally with our marketing teams and leadership to shape engaging content that raises the bar for how we tell our story to the world. Reporting to the VP, the Executive Creative Director, this role will be responsible for helping to coordinate and produce shoots, be the on-the-ground camera operator, and execute and/or steer post-production. The person in this role must be based in the Bay Area.
As a video producer/editor on the Creative Team you will:
- Work with Creative Operations to manage the entire production process including scheduling and budgeting
- Run point as necessary as the camera operator, director, and DP on shoots
- Collborate with establishing and articulating the brand expression through video
- Source and manage freelance production teams
- Set the bar for high-quality live-action video content
- Flex into varying roles depending on the scope/needs of the project
- Provide innovative and creative ideas that ladder up to team, organization, and company goals
- 10+ years of experience as a hands-on producer, videographer, and editor
- A portfolio with a range of relevant projects that cover performance marketing, social media, thought leadership
- Experience collaborating with visual designers and copywriters to produce cohesive, shared outcomes
- Experience managing budgets and freelance talent
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven experience working with executive stakeholders in a cross-functional environment

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States:
Zone 1: 216,000-245,000
