What you'll do...

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand needs, ensuring alignment between job descriptions, and target candidate profiles
  • Persistent pursuit of passive candidates via personalized reach-outs
  • Be an advocate for DEI both internally and externally
  • Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to assess suitability for positions
  • Source high caliber active and passive candidates through various methods and tools, including networking, search tools, job boards, referrals, events, etc. Use your creativity!
  • Partner with hiring managers to make offers and effectively hire highly sought after technical talent in a competitive market
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting, HR, Compensation, and Diversity teams)
  • Join projects related to employer branding presence and strategy
Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Some college coursework or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including technical and automotive recruiting, with an understanding of how recruiting can influence a company’s inclusion and diversity landscape.
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruiting, from intake and sourcing through candidate assessment, offer, and close.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and close hard-to-recruit candidates in a competitive market.
  • Experience or exposure to recruiting in global markets and partnering with candidates or stakeholders across different locations and cultures.
  • Ability to own the candidate experience and provide a thoughtful, responsive, and consistent experience from initial contact through offer and close.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a track record of identifying solutions, taking initiative, and delivering impact.
  • Curious and resourceful, with the ability to look beyond the job profile, research market trends and relevant technologies, and develop a strong understanding of the business and its talent needs.
  • Open to feedback and committed to continued learning and career development.

  • Experience recruiting in a heavily matrixed organization, building effective partnerships across functions, business units, and leadership levels while navigating differing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide hiring teams toward timely, well-informed candidate decisions by sharing candidate insights, market context, and clear recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate a compelling case for an opportunity, connecting candidates’ interests and career goals with the role, team, and organization.
  • Experience recruiting for specialized technical roles, such as embedded software engineers, systems integration engineers, thermal engineers, chassis controls engineers, battery development or cell-testing specialists, and mechanical hardware engineers.

 This position is a leadership level 6 and ranges from $127,100-$239,900.   

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
