About the role

We are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager with experience leading cross-functional teams, organizing information, and solving problems. You will report into the Program Management Organization and collaborate with multiple teams across the business to drive Service Monetization initiatives, specifically in acquisition, payments, and subscriptions. You have a strong software program management background, with experience leading delivery teams focused on acquisition-driven user interfaces, experimentation, first- and third-party payment services, and launching subscription services internationally.

  • Promote and evolve our processes to ensure closer synchronization between Program Management, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Development Operations, and Product Design
  • Lead execution of high-impact programs and teams
  • Lead, and manage progress on release plans across multiple engineering initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, remove blockers, advance progress, and seek leadership support early and soon
  • Collaborate with teams to oversee dependencies, plan releases, and resolve blocking issues
  • Communicate the team's program and initiative status to management
  • Fulfill scrum master role on multiple teams

We are considering applicants for our Los Angeles office for this hybrid role, which requires three days in the office.

About You

  • 12+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager leading software development delivery teams focused on Service Monetization, including building acquisition user interfaces and flows, subscription services, and first- and third-party payment platforms.
  • Experience leading complex programs that provide technical solutions across multiple project teams
  • Familiarity with code design principles, testing principles and standard technical methodologies
  • Take an active role in leading and encouraging innovation in the acquisition, payments and subscriptions space
  • Experience working with multiple external vendors in the subscriptions and payments industry
  • Understanding of software development processes and knowledge of the Agile SDLC process
  • Manage all aspects of technical projects -- including timeline, scope, and resource allocation -- ensuring, high-quality product delivery
  • Create capacity plans, track utilization of project resources, and manage this against the resource allocation and budget
  • Collaborate with multiple team members to define outcomes, create plans, qualify success, mitigate risks, and communicate
  • Mastery in project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Google Sheets, Slides, and more). These tools are your bread and butter.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
